Bollywood Actress Aishwarya Rai is every set to make her presence felt on the 65th edition of the prestigious Cannes International film festival and this moment, moreover being the brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris, Aishwarya will as well help increase funds for fight against AIDS at an auction there.
A sources said that the actress Aishwarya will attend the L’Oreal Paris – amfAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) on 24-25 May 2012, followed by dinner.

 

“Eleven glorious years….the journey so far has been remarkable and truly memorable. This year, I am especially privileged as I also get to lend my support to a very important cause at the amfAR dinner, by helping raise funds for the fight against AIDS, at the AMFAR auction,” Aishwarya Rai, said in a speech.

 

“It makes me proud that L’Oreal Paris sponsors and supports our fight against AIDS through this special amfAR event at Cannes,” she also added.

Other famous celebrities to participate with Aishwarya Rai to the gala dinner are, Milla Jovovich, Gwen Stefani, Liya Kebede, Aimee Mullins, Doutzen Kroes, Natasha Poly, Julianna Margulies, Diane Keaton. Kenneth Cole, Alec Baldwin, Michel Hazanavicius, Milutin Gatsby & Berenice Bejo, Ryan Kavanaugh, Karl Lagerfeld, Hugh Laurie, Carine Roitfeld and Harvey Weinstein will also be present.

The 65th Cannes International Film Festival kick starts on 16-27 May 2012.
