Aishwarya Rai will Attend 65th Cannes Film Festival and amfAR Dinner

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the face of a French cosmetic giant and will represent the brand at the 65th Cannes Film Festival. This festival will be Aishwarya's 11th successive appearance, at the celebrated event.

will represent the cosmetic brand at 65th Cannes on the 24 May and 25 May 2012. On the 24 May Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will attend the L'Oréal Paris - amfAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) dinner and after-party. This conventional dinner is held to raise funds in the fight against AIDS, thereby increase funds an international event that is a key part of the Festival.

Aishwarya Rai will grace in this festival's red carpet the next day. Proud and excited on walking the red carpet for the eleventh moment, the former beauty queen stated, "11 glorious years....the journey so far has been significant and truly unforgettable. This year, I am especially privileged as I also get to lend my support to a very important cause at the amfAR dinner, by helping raise funds for the fight against AIDS, at the AMFAR auction. It makes me proud that L'Oréal Paris sponsors and supports our fight against AIDS through this special amfAR event at Cannes."

Gwen Stefani, Aimée Mullins, Milla Jovovich, Liya Kebede, Natasha Poly, Doutzen Kroes, Julianna Margulies, Diane Keaton, will represent the French brand at the amfAR Gala along with Aishwarya. Kenneth Cole, Alec Baldwin, Michel Hazanavicius, Milutin Gatsby and Bérénice Bejo, Ryan Kavanaugh, Karl Lagerfeld, Hugh Laurie, Carine Roitfeld, Harvey Weinstein are some of the other key people who will be at the amfAR dinner.
